The four episodes related here are often included in the tally of Elisha’s miracles. But the miracles in 4:1-6:7 are decidedly more miraculous and display a structural unity that sets them apart. The narratives that comprise this section also display some internal consistencies, including their unmistakable political context, interaction with Syria, and miracles that are less overtly “miraculous.”
