Balak

King of Moab who hired Balaam to curse Israel.

Balak was king in Moab when the people of Israel wanted to pass through in the time of Moses. Afraid of Israel’s strength, he summoned a soothsayer named Balaam to curse Israel. God intervened and Balaam blessed the people instead.
