Biography
C. Wess Daniels is a recorded minister and the William R. Rogers Director of Friends Center & Quaker Studies at Guilford College. He lives in Greensboro, North Carolina with his wife, Emily and their three children. His Ph.D. is from Fuller Theological Seminary. He is widely published in Quaker publications and is the author of, “Resisting Empire: The Book of Revelation as Resistance” (2019); and “A Convergent Model of Renewal: Remixing The Quaker Tradition in Participatory Culture” (2015); and the co-editor of, "The Quaker World" (2022). His teaching and writing focus on liberating spirituality, revitalizing faith traditions, and renewing community for the work of love in the world. In his spare time, Wess runs a small coffee roasting business in Greensboro called Fireweed Coffee Co.
