Pastor Sarah Schaaf serves as Assistant to the Bishop for Emerging Church and Community Engagement with the Northwestern Ohio Synod of the ELCA and coordinates Growing in Faith: Diakonia, a lay education and leadership formation program that equips people to grow deeper in faith and more confidently live out their call to serve. She loves helping congregations get curious about their communities, try new things, and discover the surprising places where God is already at work.
