Martin J. Lohrmann is Associate Professor of Lutheran Confession and Heritage at Wartburg Theological Seminary. He has written, edited, or translated several books and articles, including Stories from Global Lutheranism: A Historical Timeline (Fortress, 2021) and Book of Harmony: Spirit and Service in the Lutheran Confessions (Fortress, 2016). Dr. Lohrmann is associate book review editor for the journal Lutheran Quarterly. He has served as pastor of congregations in Ohio and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and currently plays drums in the worship band at his church in Dubuque, Iowa.
