Biography
Marianne Ell is an ordained Episcopal priest who serves as pastor, leadership trainer, and consultant. She is Canon for strategic mission in the Diocese of Delaware and pastors a small, rural congregation. Her heart is filled with joy when she is inspiring, training, equipping and empowering the ministry of all of the baptized to serve God in the church and in the world. She also serves as a retreat leader for clergy wellness. She has a Master of Divinity degree from the Seminary of the Southwest (1989) and a master’s in organizational leadership (2022) from Columbia Southern University. Since 2021, when Faith+Lead discerned a need for training and equipping lay leaders, she has been the convener and and teacher of the School for Lay Ministry. She facilitates the twelve-month learning community of students who are eager continue to learn and to explore God’s movement in their life and calling to serve God. She is over the moon about being a soon-to be grandmother (October), a wife and friend. She loves to travel, loves sports and the outdoors, and cherishes time gathering with family and friends.
