Biography
Danielle Hensley is the author of If the Bough Breaks: When Faith and Politics Bend a Family Tree to Its Breaking Point (Cascade Books, 2024), a spiritual memoir about the intersection of faith, family, and politics. Holding two English degrees and a degree in advertising and graphic design, she has taught high school literature and currently works for a nonprofit organization as a creative specialist. She is a member of an Episcopal church in Raleigh and is passionate about storytelling as a means to bridge divides and foster understanding. She resides in Cary, North Carolina, with her husband, two children, and two Westies.
