Naomi migrated from Bethlehem to Moab. There her husband and two sons died. Naomi returned to Bethlehem with her daughter in law Ruth, who gleaned grain in the field of a man named Boaz. When Boaz showed kindness, Naomi sent Ruth to meet him by night. Boaz married Ruth and King David was their great grandson.
