SUMMARY
The Lord watches over the rights of the poor.
ANALYSIS
If the poor are robbed or cheated in the courts, the Lord will take up their cause. The prophet Isaiah announces that the Lord is doing just that, understanding that this Proverbs text is now being actualized (Isaiah 3:13-15).
